WHAT IS COLD-PRESSED?

Cold-pressed is a style of juicing that allows for the core nutrients to stay with the juice. Using thousands of pounds, the juicer slowly squeezes and pressed the juice from the vegetable or fruit allowing for the most important enzymes and vitamins to stay with it. This makes the end product easier to digest and generally better for the body.

WHERE IS BELMONTE RAW LOCATED?

We are located at 1022 Queen Street East and 30 King St West #CW5. In addition to this, you can pick up our products here. Most conveniently, you can find us delivering right to your home or office. You can also contact us by email or by phone to discuss which package would fit into your current lifestyle.

ARE ALL THE INGREDIENTS ORGANIC AND LOCAL?

We are 90-100% organic and support our local farmers as much as possible.

Since we live in a city where winter takes up half of the year, we must rely on our global community for some of our ingredients. Belmonte Raw takes great pride in choosing organic, fair trade, and sustainable methods of agriculture.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

Because all of our items are handmade or perishable and made to order for you, we do not accept returns or give refunds. Orders are, however, transferable. To add to or to change an order we require a full 24 hours notice in advance to the start/delivery date that you have chosen. Cancelled ordered within the 24 hour window are subject to a $25 fee.

HOW MUCH DOES DELIVERY COST?

Delivery ranges from $10 to $45 based on your location in and around Toronto. Please visit our Deliveries page for delivery rates to your area.

HOW DO YOU DELIVER?

We deliver all orders in refrigerated delivery trucks. All orders are delivered to your front door, condo concierge or office front of house desk.

WHEN DO JUICES GET DELIVERED?

Our juices and food items are delivered daily with the time block options of 4am - 8am or 8am - 11am, 7 days a week. All orders made online will be delivered on the selected delivery date you make at checkout. This means all 1, 2 and 3 day cleanses will be delivered on one delivery day. The only exception to this is in regard to our Total Reset cleanse that will have a delivery every 3 days of fresh juice and meals.

CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE FOR DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?

All of our products are gluten-free and vegan. Unfortunately, at this time we are not able to alter any recipes for specific dietary restrictions. 

HOW OFTEN ARE THEY MADE?

Juices are made fresh daily.

HOW DO I ORDER MY BELMONTE RAW CLEANSE?

The best way to order is through our website! You can find all of our cleanses here. If this does not suit you, you can phone us at 647-340-1218

CAN I EXTEND OR CANCEL MY CLEANSE?

Of course, you can! Just provide us with 48 hours notice.

HOW MANY DAYS AHEAD DO I HAVE TO BOOK MY CLEANSE?

We ask that you contact us at least 24 hours prior to starting your Cleanse. All orders in before 10:30am can be accommodated for a delivery the following day. This gives you adequate time for a good pre-cleanse. If you walk into our boutiques, we can assemble a Cleanse for you should all components be available.

CAN I ORDER MORE JUICES DURING MY CLEANSE?

Absolutely! We can accommodate any lifestyle – either yours or a friend/partner who may want to add juice to their days too! Just contact us to let us know your needs. 

IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD DO BEFORE I START MY CLEANSE?

We ask that you cut out all processed and refined foods and drinks as well as fried foods, caffeine, meat, dairy, gum, soda, alcohol, and sugars. Please drink more water than usual (one extra litre per day) and eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. The day before your Cleanse begins, you should be eating at least 95% raw fruit and vegetables. If you need help with this step, you may wish to consider the Belmonte Raw Pre-Cleanse, designed specifically to ease this transition.

How long and often should I Cleanse?

To receive the full benefits of your Cleanse, we recommend a minimum of five days, at least four times a year, to coincide with the seasons. Maintenance juices are recommended once or twice a week. We can, of course, accommodate any number of days to fit your lifestyle. Call or email us with your questions.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

Our clients have found they feel more energised, have increased clarity of mind, their skin begins to glow, their stomachs flatten, and they lose unwanted weight (especially after the third day). A Cleanse can also make you break out, feel sluggish, experience sore muscles, headaches or cold-like symptoms. If you experience any of these side effects, know that this means the detoxification has begun. With a good Pre-Cleanse, these symptoms will be minimised and will often go away after the second day. Make sure to drink lots of water, think positive thoughts, and remind yourself that you will feel great in a few days!

HOW MANY CALORIES ARE IN A BELMONTE RAW CLEANSE?

We are really not big supporters of counting calories and weight loss should not be your main focus for your Cleanse. We do understand that this is important to a lot of you. The Signature Juice Cleanse and the Transition Cleanse contain 1200-1400 calories per day. The Raw Food Cleanse contains 1400-1600 calories per day.

WHAT DO I DO IF I FEEL CONSTIPATED?

This is a normal occurrence with a longer juice cleanse. Because we are removing all of the fibre from your diet, your bowel movements may slow down. We recommend that you drink more water between juices and consider doing a colonic. Taking a probiotic daily will also help. 

WHAT DO I DO WITH MY EMPTY BOTTLES?

Since we do what we can for the environment and because we care about your health, we deliver our juices and smoothies in glass bottles. Please rinse your empty bottles and leave them outside your door the night before a delivery.

We only collect bottles on days we are delivering to you. With every bottle you return, you receive 1 credit. Once you have 10 credits, you can redeem them for any 250ml or 500ml beverage in-store. Unfortunately at this time you cannot redeem your bottle credits online.

WHAT DO I DO POST-CLEANSE?

You want to end your Cleanse the way that you enter it by slowly starting to introduce raw foods and then cooked foods over time. If you don’t have time to make your own food, don’t worry, we can delivery a few day of The Starter Cleanse. This will allow your system to ease its way back into solid foods. This time is a good opportunity to slowly reintroduce foods you to which you may be sensitive.

WILL I LOSE WEIGHT DURING MY CLEANSE?

Losing weight should not be the primary focus of cleansing but can be a pleasant side effect. On average, our clients lose between 1/2 - 1 1/2 pounds per day.

HOW DO I MAINTAIN THIS AMAZING FEELING?

Keep eating raw foods for as long as possible post-Cleanse. You can also order regularly from us for a day or weekend 'quick cleanse' or drop by the in-store for a healthy in-house or take-out meal.
